At Baker Early College, we believe that academic success is closely tied to personal well-being and meaningful support.

Whether students are pursuing high school credit, college courses, or both, we provide a comprehensive support system designed to meet individual needs. From personalized learning accommodations to mental health services and inclusive, equity-driven practices—BEC students are never alone on their journey.

Special Education

Baker Early College offers additional support for students who qualify for special education (IEP), Section 504, and/or English Language Learner (ELL) services. Services are tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring equitable access to both high school and college-level coursework.

Mental Health Counseling

All BEC students have access to free mental health counseling, provided by our on-staff Student Wellness Team made up of licensed mental health professionals. Our goal is to support students’ emotional and mental well-being as they pursue their academic and personal goals.

Equity

We are committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and accessible learning environment. At BEC, students are encouraged to express themselves authentically, collaborate with peers, and explore ideas in a safe, supportive space. We actively advocate for every student and strive to ensure equity is at the heart of all we do.
