You must be an Oregon resident and of high school age.
It’s perfectly fine if you’ve never attended public school before! If you have attended an accredited high school, the credits you’ve already earned will transfer with you.
College coursework requires a new level of independence and responsibility. Successful students are typically able to communicate independently, advocate for their needs, and manage their time effectively. It’s okay if you don’t have prior experience with college-level work—we will help place you in the right classes based on your current skills and needs.
That said, college courses remain college-level—they are not simplified for high school students. Our goal is to help you find the right academic challenge, one that stretches you without overwhelming you. And if you’re not quite ready for the demands of college courses, that’s okay too. We offer a variety of high school credit options to meet you where you are.
Please note:
- Students under 15 are eligible only for high school-level classes.
- Students under 16 may not take classes at Linn-Benton Community College, Rogue Community College, or Umpqua Community College but may be eligible to enroll through one of our other college partners.
We accept students on a rolling basis throughout the year. If you enroll between college terms, we’ll get you started right away with high school credit classes while you wait for college courses to begin.
